Modernising the data collection system for meter data
Experience with the current solution led Hydro to seek a more user-friendly system that could simplify day-to-day operations.
– We see a need to adopt a more modern and transparent system. Quant Collect appears to be a forward-looking tool that can simplify the daily work of our operators and make it easier to follow up on meter data, says Terje Wesseltoft Martinsen at Hydro.
Martinsen highlights usability, easier configuration and improved follow-up of work processes as key factors in the evaluation of the new solution. The transition also enables Hydro to phase out older meters in line with ongoing development.
Expertise and close support
The decision builds on a long-standing collaboration between the parties.
– We have worked with Embriq for many years and have been satisfied with the cooperation. We experience good support and close follow-up when we need it. It is important for us to have competent professionals to rely on, and we receive the assistance we need when questions or challenges arise, says Martinsen.
Quant Collect is delivered as a SaaS solution and meets Hydro’s requirements for IT security and architecture.
– Hydro has been clear about the needs they want to address in this upgrade. We appreciate the trust placed in us and look forward to supporting them going forward, says Christl Karoline Ellingsen-Lettrem, Sales Executive at Embriq.
