Jens Haug, Product Director at Embriq, says that the process has been a journey of several stages, and that together with Equinor, they have identified good solutions in this development project, including a VPN-free solution that ensures safety and efficiency. “The core of this solution is our standardised software products, and we have also developed a solution for Equinor that provides secure communication without a VPN,” explains Jens Haug.
Embriq’s solutions for Equinor will collect meter data from their onshore and offshore facilities and deliver these to Elhub. Embriq delivers more than 55% of the meter data in Elhub, and has more than 10 years of experience in this field. “We make sure that all data sent to Elhub always has the required level of quality.
“With this development project, Embriq handles all data deliveries to Elhub, providing time savings for Equinor,” concludes Jens Haug.
